wow it has been forever since I updated this aaa. might as well give some insight to what's been going on on my side 8Uc

WELL IF IT'S NOT OBVIOUS, I haven't been doing much art stuff lately because I've been wrapped up in my collaboration job with my papa, *Ricky-Roo302. We're doing a newspaper comic for a local Kodiak bi-monthly newspaper called the Kodiak Shopper. The comic is called BEARY TAILS, and it's about a family of Kodiak bears. Papa writes the scripts and does the lineart, while I do the coloring and image editing, fixing lines and adding word balloons and all that stuff. We're already going on 11 issues ((I'm working on the 11th comic as I type this. Expect it to show up soon~)) and papa already has a few more scripts done to later issues. In other comic related news, for those that follow "Hierarchy", my Brütal Legend Tainted Coil fan comic on the Double Fine Action Forums, yes, it's on indefinite hiatus ; no I am not canceling it or leaving it unfinished. Believe me, I feel so awful for leaving you guys on a cliffhanger for months now, but with my comic job with papa ((that actually PAYS mind you. we're getting like $100 per comic 8Uc)) has pretty much taken up all my art time. All I've really been able to do is just sketches and doodles that are sketchy and boring and bluh and no one wants to see them 8U Also said doodles are like 70% MS Paint Adventures / The Felt things that no one would get unless they know the story and such. So... bluh 8Uc

ALSO POKéMON WHITE VERSION. I AM SO ADDICTED AAAA~~~ I love so many of the new Pokers I can't choose favorites. Herdier, Leavanny, Swoobat, the Snivy line, Scolipede, Krookodile, Mienshao, Joltik AAAAA TOO MANY FAVORITES @_@

And on a final note, if it's not obvious from the journal title, I'm heading down to Sakuracon in just a few weeks! I'm actually heading down to see my aunt in south Washington for my birthday ((which is on the 15th btw. man I'm gonna be 20 how did I survive this long aaaa)), but I'll be up in Seattle for the convention. I'll be there all three days, and on Saturday the 23rd, I'll be cosplaying as Jade Harley from Homestuck in her original outfit ((with Squiddles lunchbox~)). The other days I will either be wearing either one of two Double Fine shirts, or my Homestuck Aries/Aradia troll shirt, and I will most likely have my plushie Tikara with me as well~ This will be my first "big" con so I'll probably be all overwhelmed and taking everything in, but I'm sure I'll still have a super fun time!~
